This policy explains how i-makeawish.com, an independent entertainment and community website, handles information.
Information we process
- Wish content: the text and category you choose to submit. Wishes are shown publicly without a name.
- Optional email: used for service messages about the submitted wish. It is not displayed publicly.
- Technical data: IP address, security logs, device/browser information and cookies used for security, rate limits, voting and site operation.
- Payments: PayPal processes payment details. We receive transaction identifiers, status, amount and the Wish ID needed to fulfil a featured-promotion purchase; we do not receive your full card details.
Why we use it
We process data to publish and moderate wishes, prevent abuse, provide voting and deletion features, complete paid promotions, secure the website, measure performance and comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and third parties
Necessary cookies and local storage support sessions, language preferences, deletion keys, security and fraud prevention. With the visitor's consent where required, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement and advertising. Cloudflare provides security and PayPal provides checkout services. Their own privacy terms also apply.
Retention
Published wishes remain available until deleted with the deletion password selected at submission or removed through moderation. Payment records and essential security records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Other logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary.
Your choices and rights
Keep the deletion password you select at submission. It allows you to delete your wish through the deletion page. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw optional cookie consent at any time through the site's cookie controls.
