Write with care, privacy and respect
The wishing wall is open to many ages, cultures and points of view. These rules help keep public submissions readable, respectful and safer for the people mentioned in them.
Keep people anonymous
Do not publish real names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, account details, schools, workplaces, travel plans, medical records or any other information that could identify or locate a private person. Use general phrases such as “a friend” or “someone I care about.”
No threats, harassment or exploitation
Do not threaten, intimidate, stalk, shame or encourage harm toward anyone. Content involving sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual material, hatred, terrorism or instructions for wrongdoing is not permitted.
Do not make dangerous claims
A wish may express hope for health or prosperity, but it must not promote unverified cures, guarantee financial returns or encourage someone to ignore qualified professional help. Urgent safety concerns require an appropriate real-world service, not an online wish.
Post one sincere wish
Avoid automated submissions, repeated copies, meaningless character strings, enormous number sequences, advertising and unrelated links. Write complete sentences that allow another reader to understand the central hope.
Moderation and removal
Submissions may be automatically filtered, hidden or removed when they appear to break these rules. Administrative review can happen after publication. The person who submitted a wish can delete it with the password chosen during submission; the administrator may remove any unsuitable wish.
These guidelines supplement the website’s Terms, Disclaimer and Privacy information. They do not create a guarantee that every submission will be reviewed before appearing.
