I understand wanting to ignore this message, because these desires become so important to us....we DON'T want to let go. Part 2: It went on like that for so long, a lot of wasted time, but now, the God of the universe is shining light into my life. Revealing to me the flaws of what I believed and sometimes still do, and he gave me his word, and because of his great love...he's tearing those lies down and giving me what I (and every other human) craves...love, clarity, acceptance, purpose, healing of all the disappointments/pain in my life and freedom from what those chains had on me. Praise God!! And instead of escaping reality and getting lost in my fantasies of a favorite anime or t.v. show, instead of just coping with my problems I am gaining victory over them through Jesus Christ. I am going through other people's wishes on this website, and I understand wanting to have everything you want now....exactly how you want it...trust me I do...even to the point of obsessing over it.

Part 1: I recently got a vote on one of my wishes, and....I remember writing that wish from when i was like 14. This might help someone, it might not, it's not all a big deal though, you could care or just stop reading. The fact that I had big dreams and big crazy ideas isn't what bothers me, it's the fact that looking back I realized how much pain I was at the time. I may have not realized it then, but the reason I was making those types of wishes was because it all stemmed from a place of not feeling like i was enough....can you relate? I spent a lot of time trying to do things and gain stuff that I believed would give me significance, make me special, and give me purpose. Sometimes it would be wanting animal ears/ a tail, a superpower/special ability, it even got to the point of where I wanted to be a completely different person...which was most often a fictional character that didn't even exist!
