 My storyMy fiance and I fell in love on Facebook and I went to be with him inEurope. I had a companion who had family in Europe and promisedhousing while we got his immigration paperwork ready, so we met inFrance, where he was living and working at the time, headed to Italywhere said housing was supposed to be. We were stranded in Milan trainstation, homeless and penniless because, the companion left after myfiance spent all his saved funds and no, he never asked me for a dime.He spent the next week trying to get us back to France, making sure Ihad something to eat and watched over me while I slept, turning downseveral opportunities for safe housing and food because they would notlet me go with him. Finally, he got transportation back to Paris,where he had housing and employment waiting. We were pulled off thebus and he was deported, I was sent home to us. I'm going blind now due to a disease and want to be reunited with him before I can't see him anymore.
