I wish that in the 9th volume of RWBY, Winter would have her mind focused only on one thing: the death of Cinder Fall as she would never be the same again after what she did to Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Blake, who were actually transported to an unfamiliar island, although Winter doesn't know that and at the end of Volume 9, Winter kills Cinder not only for revenge, but not before saying to her that she should never have been born as a cruel irony, but also to make sure that Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Blake, and Jaune (and possibly Penny) get back to the realm of Remnant before taking off to make sure the others are okay and bring the returned huntsman and huntresses there to confront and stop Salem once and for all with the 10th volume being the final volume of the story of RWBY with which Summer Rose returns as a renegade Grimm Hound devoted to helping team RWBY, especially Qrow and her daughter, Ruby, undermine Salem's efforts and successfully ensure the gods' return to Remnant in the end.
