I wish that if I ever become a mother that I will be a good one. That I won't ever even subconsciously try to hurt my child(ren) the way my mother hurt me. I wish that I will love my baby (or babies) and treasure their lives more than my own. The way it's supposed to be. I wish that they will be protected from all harm. Including me if it comes down to it. I wish that they will be spared the pain that I had/have/always will have.
