I wish that I lived with a different family where my mom is a model and my dad is a comedian, and also that I have a older sister and a younger sister, and that I have a girlfriend that is very beauiful and look like my new dad and my sister's look like my mom and that I live in a mansion, and that I have a bunch of friends,and not like my life now where I have a horrible job, and people make fun of me. Part 1: I recently got a vote on one of my wishes, and....I remember writing that wish from when i was like 14. This might help someone, it might not, it's not all a big deal though, you could care or just stop reading. The fact that I had big dreams and big crazy ideas isn't what bothers me, it's the fact that looking back I realized how much pain I was at the time. I may have not realized it then, but the reason I was making those types of wishes was because it all stemmed from a place of not feeling like i was enough....can you relate? I spent a lot of time trying to do things and gain stuff that I believed would give me significance, make me special, and give me purpose. Sometimes it would be wanting animal ears/ a tail, a superpower/special ability, it even got to the point of where I wanted to be a completely different person...which was most often a fictional character that didn't even exist!

Part 2: It went on like that for so long, a lot of wasted time, but now, the God of the universe is shining light into my life. Revealing to me the flaws of what I believed and sometimes still do, and he gave me his word, and because of his great love...he's tearing those lies down and giving me what I (and every other human) craves...love, clarity, acceptance, purpose, healing of all the disappointments/pain in my life and freedom from what those chains had on me. Praise God!! And instead of escaping reality and getting lost in my fantasies of a favorite anime or t.v. show, instead of just coping with my problems I am gaining victory over them through Jesus Christ. I am going through other people's wishes on this website, and I understand wanting to have everything you want now....exactly how you want it...trust me I do...even to the point of obsessing over it.

Part 3: Desire is normal, but it can get out of hand, your desires can lead you down a path that often times leaves you disappointed, and more broken and vulnerable then you were before. I understand wanting to ignore this message, because these desires become so important to us....we DON'T want to let go. But I'll say it anyway, I'm pleading for you to redirect your searching to God...he IS the answer, please....seek him and you will find why he's worth it. God is asking you to give him what little you have, in order for him to give you and overflowing amount of more. I'm not telling you these things to break your spirit, I'm doing it to bring to your attention that their is a better way of life. God is a giver, and he has so much to give, you've just got to receive it, he wants to tell you are already his priority, already deeply loved, already accepted, as a human, you are already the most important and crowning jewel of all creation.
